Pre-order your Thanksgiving Turkey cake.

No Thanksgiving meal is complete without turkey. Thanks to Jen’s Cakes, you can satisfy your turkey craving during dessert too. We’re taking pre-orders for Mr. or Mrs. Turkey cakes. Each “bird” sells for $50 and can serve 10 guests. Bookings are limited so act now to avoid disappointment. Sorry, gravy is not included!

What a Prize!

Jen's Cakes is pleased to announce we have been selected to create a cake worth $1,000 for the 1st Prize winner of the Last Bride Standing TV reality show.

We will give you a 5% discount towards your next order for every successful referral you provide us. Refer 2 people and receive 10% off, 5 referrals will save you you 25%. That can quickly translate into free cakes. There aren't any complicated forms to complete and you don't have to be well-connected with a government official to qualify. Nicole & Friends Lemonade Sale exceeds expectations, $1,077 raised for SickKids Foundation.

The weather played havoc with our plans for the 3rd Annual Nicole and Friends Lemonade Sale in support of SickKids Foundation. We rescheduled the event to Monday August 3 instead of Sunday the 2nd to avoid thunderstorms. We changed the signs to reflect the new date, but flyers already handed out had the old date printed on them. The news of the date change did not reach everyone so we set up the lemonade stand for the people that started to arrive on Sunday, in effect making the lemonade sale a two-day event. We worried the date change and long weekend would affect the local turnout so we decided to sacrifice a second day to help the cause. The residents of Durham did not disappoint us. This year’s sale generated an estimated donation of $1,077 for SickKids Foundation, shattering our initial goal of $500. Nicole Bibassis was helped by a great team of volunteers; Vanessa Siskopoulos, Faith, Noah and Lisa Smith, Clara Medeiros and Junior Sousa. We’d like to thank the corporate sponsors of the sale: Sobeys Ajax, Watt International, Jen’s Cakes, 2nd Defense Inc. and Bulk Barn. Their generosity helped us to limit costs and direct more dollars to the SickKids Foundation. Thanks go out to the firefighters from Station 1 that came to support the event and reviewed fire safety. Local ward 2 councillor Renrick Ashby lent his support in person and Ajax-Pickering MP Mark Holland sent a wonderful letter to Nicole thanking her for her fundraising efforts.
