Policies

Our Payment Policy

To confirm your date, a 50% deposit is required, this is to confirm your date only. Your cake order is only fully confirmed when a full payment is made.
The final balance is due 14 days prior to the event There are no refunds on any cancellations one week before the event date.
We accept cash or Interact Email Money Transfer to cakes@jenscakes.ca
We do not accept personal cheques.
Cakes ordered within less than 2 weeks prior to the event date require full payment. Consultations are by appointment only.

Refund Policy

Jen’s Cakes reserves the right to refuse refund for cancellation of an order, and may still charge if an order is cancelled less than 3 days before pick-up/delivery time. No cash refunds will be issued, if product is deemed to be unsatisfactory or sub-standard, a credit for the same product or to the same value may be issued.

Delivery Policy

Any cakes delivered or picked up are at purchasers risk. No refund will be given for damaged cakes. Jen’s Cakes is located in Ajax, Ontario. There is no charge for deliveries in the Pickering, Ajax & Whitby area. Delivery fee outside the area varies based on distance.

Book your date today

We can confirm orders up to 3 months in advance of the event date.  We recommend a lead time of at least one month for event cakes and for wedding cakes. More time is best during busy season from May to September. This is to ensure date availability and to ensure we can accommodate your specific needs. Customer service is important to us and we treat all orders with the special attention they deserve.
We reserve the right to refuse to sell you a product if there is a dispute relating to the attributes or price of a product. All prices are subject to change.
